Stratis Health is committed to ensuring that quality health care is delivered in a fair, inclusive, and just manner to improve the lives of individuals, communities, and populations. To do this, we know that health equity must be centered in our work — our operating premise is that without equity, there cannot be quality. We also know that the lack of equity in health care planning and delivery exacerbates health disparities for vulnerable and at-risk communities.

To advance health equity, we work with community and national partners when it comes to addressing structural inequities such as racism, ageism, sexism, and xenophobia. Similarly, we work with our partners to reach and work with people in their respective communities through advocacy, patient education, and health promotion on many factors that can affect an individual’s health. These include social needs such as nutrition, physical activity, and sexual behavior, for example.

At Stratis Health, we understand that improving health is a powerful tool to make lives better and transform communities. Central to our work is a transformation framework that emphasizes a fundamental desire to advance health equity.
