Kristina Bloomquist has been named Senior Vice President of Quality, Safety, and Health Equity for Stratis Health, effective November 21. In this role, Bloomquist will serve as the organization’s senior executive responsible for ensuring the successful planning and execution of Stratis Health’s national portfolio of quality, safety, and health equity improvement programs and projects.
“Kristina has an impressive range of operational, programmatic, and research leadership experiences that will enable Stratis Health to support success across all programs and advance our work based on organizational mission and strategies,” said Jennifer Lundblad, Stratis Health President & CEO. “She will work closely with me, our Corporate Operations Team (COT), and our board to execute our programs with excellence and support our continued national growth.”
For three decades, Ms. Bloomquist has worked in a variety of leadership roles for nonprofit organizations, including the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP). Her work with NMDP included responsibilities for the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research (CIBMTR). She also spent nearly 20 years at Medica, where she launched and served as Executive Director for the Medica Research Institute.

Bloomquist holds an undergraduate degree in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota. She also has several certifications including Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Certified in Healthcare Research Compliance.
