In his MNCM role, Dr. Satin brings clinical depth and analytical rigor to setting meaningful measurement priorities. He proposed the establishment of a Risk Adjustment and Segmentation Committee, which resulted in the nation’s first homegrown ZIP code-level risk adjustment “deprivation index”.

In addition to his board leadership, Dr. Satin directs core topics in ethics, law, policy, health care finance, and quality improvement, serves as a preceptor in the Family Medicine Residency at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and co-directs the Rothenberger Leadership Academy.
